For Gym Owners, by gym owners
One day a vendor of ours asked “When would you consider Gym Launch a success? When are you going to be done?” He asked this knowing our tremendous growth rate and revenue levels.
“When every gym owner can provide abundantly for his/her family, have time to enjoy their lives, and provide consistently life-changing service to their clients.” At the end of the day, it’s not about us. In a more poetic way, we aim to take the industry from begging on its knees to standing proudly on its feet.
Us vs. Them
We see the gym business as a single sequential flow. If you improve an earlier flow, it runs down the pipeline. We spend ALL of our resources to increase the flow. Effort and knowledge go in one side, profit and purpose flow from the other.
We spend hundreds of thousands every month to test new concepts that affect every part of the business: Lead generation, lead nurture, sales, fulfillment, retention. We don’t gain priceless insights and hold them hostage, but give them away instead.

Who is Alex Hormozi?
Alex is a former gym owner who slept on his gym floor. While it was full, he couldn’t acquire, serve, and retain enough customers to be profitable.
Over the next 3 years, he became a sponge. He experimented and fixed each problem plaguing his gyms. He then turned one struggling gym into six packed gyms. That’s when he met Leila. By combining skill sets, work ethic, and core values, the company exploded. Today, the Gym Launch model has transformed over 1500 gyms on four continents
What is Gym Launch?
At some point, every gym owner had a moment when they said, “I’m going into the fitness business, so I can do what I love as a career.”
Some got into it through personal training.
Others got into it through a franchise opportunity.
Others were clients of a gym, got certified, and then decided to open their own facility.
And some just jumped in with two feet, signed the lease and said, “F*ck it —let’s do this. I’ll make it work.”
And work we did.
Most of us opened a facility with the intention of helping people go through the same personal transformation we went through ourselves. Our lives were changed, and we wanted to help others change their lives.
Many of us thought owning a gym would be one of our crowning accomplishments—a final destination—when in reality, it was just the beginning.
Somehow, in the process of going from “passionate to help others” to “owning my first gym,” you slowly come to the realization that you don’t even have the most basic skills for running a business, let alone a gym.
We may know a lot about fitness, but that doesn’t mean we know anything about running a fitness business.
What you have in your hands is the culmination of my work to date with 1,200+ gym owners and 50+ franchises in a bazillion different markets— small, big, saturated, empty, rich, poor, all ethnicities, north, south, east, west, UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Germany, Belgium.
I made every mistake running my gym. And now you can watch and practice what I learned, so you don’t have to make the same mistakes I did.
It kills me to see gym owners struggling because I know there’s a better way. I know how it felt when I was literally sleeping at my facility. It was a dark time in my life. And I don’t want anyone else to feel like I did if I can help them avoid it.
As of 2018, my company, Gym Launch, has helped over 1,500 gyms turn themselves around and become massively profitable. Our community is responsible for over 4,000 new jobs and over $1 billion in revenue (according to an extrapolated average from our internal surveys in 2018).
We’ve helped gym owners regain control over their time, make more money, and—best of all—find the fun in fitness again. Because that’s why you got into this business in the first place, right? You genuinely love working out and helping people feel better. You’ve already got the heart.
Now all you need to be wildly successful is a little of the right math. Don’t let the “m” word scare you. If you’re not into numbers or business models, that’s okay. I’m going to walk you through each concept step-by-step. I will explain each of the big three problems in detail, including why they don’t work. Then I’m going to show you the solutions.
What’s In It For You?
If you are willing to exchange the time it takes to really study —and if you IMPLEMENT even a portion of the techniques I describe—I can guarantee you will add more revenue to your gym. Nothing else you could do in that amount of time will help you more than picking up what I’m laying down here. That is a promise.
I can make such a bold promise because most of the gyms I work with have only implemented about 30% of the techniques I present. And every single one of them has seen a subsequent explosion in top-line revenue (sales) growth and bottom line (profit).
What’s In It For Me?
My end goal is simple: trust. I’d like to earn yours. No small feat in this industry, but what can I say? I’ve got big dreams. So I’d like to earn your trust by making you money first if that’s okay. I want to give you the results in advance. Try just a couple of tactics, watch them work, then try a few more, watch them work…and so on.
The more you see results in your own business, the better.
I remember how it felt to wake up in the middle of the night in cold sweats, wondering how I’d make payroll. And I know how security and peace of mind feel.
